Serian watches and waits as Xionas mentaly prepares,
his fingers open and then close once more around the hilt of his twin
blades.

 

Serian grins as Xionas commits to the head on attack. Serian waits
as his opponent charges, he raises his left weapon but leaves the tip down.
The rapier in his right hand, held verticaly with his body. Serian's eyes pop open as Xionas Stops and initiates the flying technique. Serians thoughts quicken as he runs through his options, deciding on one finaly he falls straight back. Serian swings his veritcaly held rapier in a side arch as he falls flat and spins over to his stomach knocking the katana to the side, its tip grazing his chest and opening a gash. His head reels as his chest slams into the dirt, he quickly gains his bearings and leaps to his feet pushing off with his hands.
As soon as his feet hit solid ground he bursts into a blur of movements,his feet pump furiously under him. His dance of death begins with his left rapier which cuts and thrust at your katana wielding arm in attempts to keep it at bay. His holds his right rapier back waiting, thinking he see's an openong between his breastplate and leggings, he thrusts foward hoping to hit a vital organ. He expertly moves his left rapier back into a defensive position, in the result he does minimal damage.

 

Xionas quickly blocks and parries the left rapier with his katana and curses a bit as the right rapier speeds toward his left thigh. Xionas pivots his left thigh away from the blade, and in one fluid motion knocks the other rapier away with his katana and continues his pivot, turning it into a left roundhouse kick, aimed for serians back.Xionas curses as the rapier still gouges his left thigh a bit.

Serian frowns as his blades do no damage. Serian quickly brings his weapons back before him, but does an odd thing, he drops them both and ducks slightly. He then grasps Xionas' ankle, his muscles tense as he uses all his strength to turn the spinning kick back around. Xionas' momentum proves the greater as Serian manages to stop the kick but not fully, dulling the blow he still gets caught in the temple. Serians head turns as, he attempts to fight back the haze
that developes in his vision. He then half falls half crouchs and scoops up his weapons, rolling to the side. He shakes his head as he stands to face Xionas. As he squares off with his opponent, his eyes narrow slightly, his foot shifts as he dashes foward angling both tips at Xionas' midsection. He swings his blades outward at the last moment stopping his momentum, as his foot flies foward and up. Wit the ditraction of his blades Serian hopes his kick may daze the
opponent before him.

 

Xionas raises his katana to stop the two blades, then realizes his folly. In a desperate attempt to dodge the kick, Xiona backflips away from the kick. Xionas is knocked off his ntended path as the kick still connects with the back of his left leg, sending him sprawling on his stomach to the ground, his katana falling out of reach. Xionas grunts and flips onto his back and kicks
himself to his feet. Completely ignoring his lost katana, Xionas assumes a fistfighting stance and runs at Serian, who is still hasent re assumed a battle stance, thus leaving his entire front exposed. Favoring his left leg a bit, Xionas steps on Serian with his right foot as he backflips and brings his left foot up toward serians jaw, hopeing to knock him back and complete
his flip, so that he lands facing serian and standing in the ready position to block the counterattack.

 

Serian quickly realizes his mistake as he watches the agile martial artist. He tries to retract his rapiers quick enough, but to no avail. Realizing he must take some portion of the kick, he steps foward towards Xionas, turning to the left and raising his knee quickly. Xionas' kick connects solidly allowing him to complete his flip, but not like he wanted. Serians body turns as the foot hits his exposed thigh, turning him in a complete circuit, as he does so he tucks his rapiers close to his body. Knowing that Xionas is not to far away he goes with the momentum of his spin, and extends his rapiers horizantaly. Keeping the hilts close to his body he begins to spin, working his arms up and down his blades taking on a slightly different angle. Keeping one rapier tip slightly up the other slightly down, his spin takes him towards Xionas, the speed becoming blindingly fast. Serian yelps hoping he has scored a hit, stopping suddenly his swords revers their angles switching as his circular motion reverses but
continues foward in an atempt to rip Xionas to pieces.

 

Xionas watches his kick merely glance off the side of serian, and mentaly kicks himself for not being faster. His eyes then go wide as serian begins to spin toward him, his rapiers whirling like a saw of death. Xionas raises his arms and lets the rapiers connect with his crystal gauntlets. As serian yelps, you hear the sound of bones breaking in Xionas' right wrist. me grunts a bit at the sound and notices serians reversal. realizing he cant block them again the same way, Xionas takes his last option... Xionas drops under the blades arc and sweeps serian's feet out from underneath him. As serian hits the ground. Xionas uses his forward momentum from the sweep to continue around whiledropping down to his left shoulder. Still rotating at a fast speed, Xionas rolls to his right shoulder keeping his broken wrist tucked to his body and tries to slam the heel of his right foot into serians gut.

 

Serian 's face twists with glee as he hears the distinct snap of bone. He fails to notice Xionas drop as his spin reverses, feeling his spin stop he grunts as his shoulder collides with the ground. Serians left rapier drops from his grasp as the he tries to right himself. Paying it no heed he catches Xionas' next movements just out of the corner of his eye, taking note of the broken wrist he waits for the blow. As Xionas' heel speeds towards Serians gut, he flexes his
hined pec muscles. Still colliding a soft thud is heard, Serian proceeds to drop his other rapier and grasp His enemies ankle yanking hard. Hoping to Knock Xionas off balance Serian uses the pulling force to lift hiself slightly from the ground. His free hand snakes forth in an ttempt to grasp the broken wrist and yank the bones even further apart.

 

Xionas grunts as he is nearly pulled across the ground and on top of serian. Grimacing a bit as his ankle is twisted out of socket, Xionas wraps his right arm under then over serians outstretched arm , hyperextending the elbow. Xionas then raised his left arm and brings it screaming down toward serians forearm, hoping to break it, throuought the tussle serians rapiers are kicked away from the two and skitter to a stop several feet from the two.

 

Serian continues to struggle with Xionas, quickly he puts his rapiers out of mind. He feels Xionas' arm wrap around his, anticipating the next move. Instead of rising he clips his free arm around Xionas' leg and pulls causing his knee to buckle as Xionas fall Serian's arm cracks loudly as his elbow fractures. Gritting his teeth Serian yanks his arm free before releasing a shriek of pain, he quickly dives for a rapier. He picks up a rapier and turns to face Xionas
in a crouch, "You are skilled in your arts..."

 

Xionas tumbles back and rolls to his katana grabing it."as are you friend...."
