Xionas is the son of a Martial-artist and a Swordmaster. Trained in the use of hand-to-hand combat and the Katana at
an early age, Xionas is a force to be reckoned with. Xionas has been involved in warfare since his come of age test at the
age of 10, relativly young for one of his people. No one is quite sure what tribe Xionas belongs to, but rumor is that Xionas
belongs to a clan of warriors north of the Iron Mts. in Zanloft. By the age of 20 Xionas had helped his people conquer
many rival clans, and a few clans Xionas disposed of single-handedly. With his foes vanquished and wanderlust in his veins,
Xionas set off to roam the land. During his ventures, Xionas met a priest of Yuven, the Patron god of Zanloft. The two joined
forces and set out on a missionary quest, with Xionas as the priests bodyguard. Influenced by this travels with the
priest, Xionas made a deal with the priesthood. he would set out on his own to find more people for the missionarys to teach
the ways of Yuven. While traveling past the Towers of Sorcery, a band of thieves and assassins known as the Deciples Jumped
the warrior. Xionas fought bravely against the thugs, but the leader, a skilled assasin by the name of Jubei Moonstar
Bested the Martial-artist. Stripped of all his possesions save his breeches and katana, the thieves left the man for dead.
( Now your probably wondering why they left the katana right? Well it was very old and worn, so none of the thieves thought
it was worth anything, so they left it. It wasnt like the dead martial-artist was going to use it to exact vengance anyway,
right?)Fortunatly Xionas was hanging on to life by a mere thread, And while praying to Yuven with what he thought would be
his last breath, Xionas blacked out. A passing apprentice mage found Xionas' bloody and battered body. Being a mage of order
and goodness, the mage carted Xionas form to the towers to see if the archmages could help, or at least give him a decent
burial. oddly enough, sometime between Xionas blacking out and the mage finding him, a strange crystal sphere found its way
into Xionas' posession. After being nursed back to health by the mages, Xionas discovered he could no longer use his sword
with any kind of accuracy, since the thieves had cost him an eye. The mages, perplexed by the magic within the sphere, bade
Xionas stay at the towers untill he could fight again. So, when Xionas was out training, the mages would sneak into his quarters
and study the sphere. It was obviously enchanted by some sort of devine magic, but the mages could never find out what
it exactly did. One eve, an archmage and his apprentice stole the sphere and took it to the archmages chambers. The two mages
were power-hungry black mages and they wanted to use the power of the sphere to suit their own gains. while the archmage
was preparing his spell, the apprentice seized the sphere to try to boost his own skills. before the apprencice could react,
the sphere erupted in a chromatic aura and several wraith warriors appeared and slew the apprentice. After completeing their
gristly work, the wraiths dissapeared and the sphere grew dark again. Just as Xionas returned to his chambers to discover
the sphere missing, the Archmage discovered his apprentice slain. Now, no one knows exactly what happened next. Some say that
the archmage tried to turn the sphere into a magical bomb and send it to the abyss, others say he tried to use it to travel
to the realm of the gods. but regardless of what happened the sphere didnt like it and the archmage was found dead, cleaved
in twain by some mighty force. Strangely the sphere was no where to be found, and Xionas had vanished right before several
novice mages eyes. the next time Xionas or the sphere were seen was together in Karchan. Xionas wandered the land for a while
untill he happened across a human/pheonix hybrid fighting a losing battle against a blood knight named Neraka. Joining the
fray, Xionas fought bravely, but was once more vanquished, this time for good. then, somewhere out of the heavens, Silvaras
(a.k.a. Yuven) Ressurected the martial-artist by melding his soul with a wraith, the soldiers of the dreamworld. Xionas lost
his sphere to Neraka, the man who slew him, but Xionas still wanders the land, engaging in duels and tests of strength whenever
possible. Xionas still hopes to come across Neraka again and reclaim what is rightfully his.
